We got on the move pretty early because we'd ended up parking in a very residential area. We'd have felt pretty uncomfortable sitting there in our bus, eating our cornflakes, watching into someone's house while they're sitting there eating theirs! We headed for another of the beaches in Byron; Wategos Beach. It became immediately apparent that this particular spot was very popular with the more mature beach-goer. Like, really mature ...

... of people about it... We came to the conclusion, that there were going to be A LOT of dirty, stoned hippies wandering around the place. So ... We booked ourselves up a tour... I say 'tour'...

We get picked up at 10am by the most colourful bus I've ever seen. Big, chugging bus, with a rainbow, and the words 'Happy Bus' painted on the side.
Mine & Mo's 'sideways glance' made its acquaintance again...

... to walk around the whole place with this pole taking photos. I think the best thing about the lighthouse trip was the wildlife we saw. We started by seeing our first Koala sitting in the wild in the trees. He was scrummaging around looking for food high in the branches. This was then followed by a water dragon as we walked on. The highlight of the fauna was the dolphins. While on top of the lighthouse we saw a pod of dolphins. There must have been 20 of them ...

After waking up shattered again I got up and had breakfast in the sun which was nice, my plan for today was to go to the lighthouse, be nice to have a walk.. So I started on my way taking a causal stroll but it was a much more of an intense walk than I thought! Most of it was up hill, I ended up walking over 2hours but I done a loop which was good and some if the lookouts where amazing!! I even got to the lighthouse ...
