... so many friends in this amazing place called Byron Bay. Too many to even mention everybody personally. Every night, there'd be someone new, someone just as eager as you to have a bit of fun and relax. We spent many an evening listening to the gentle strumming of a ukulele, with quite a few crude songs to go with it. We spent an amazing night with a big group of people down on the beach, with a bonfire, marshmallows, wine and of course, good conversation and laughter. It was ...

... laws as everywhere else in New South Wales, where it is in fact, very illegal. For some reason police turn a bit of a blind eye, perhaps because of the tourism it brings in. I can't remember the exact wording of the adverts, but the basic gist ...

... we were down. I very much doubt this will be the last time I sky-dive and I think even Vicky feels the same about what was the highlight of the honeymoon so far! A day relaxing at the beach followed before going for some tapas. Another delight as I had the best dish I've tasted here yet, this being beef cheeks in caramelised red wine and thyme with a cauliflower purée. One I will definitely be trying to re-create at ...

... explore everything around us. The majority of the people in Byron Bay were international travelers and Aussie hippies. Several people had dreads, tattoos, long skirts, and piercings. We explored all of the gift stores and walked on the beach for a bit. We could see the lighthouse from where we were, which gave us our plans for the next day. We planned to get up before sunrise and hike up to the lighthouse. Before heading back to our hostel ...
