Strolled around Takjo in the morning before heading off to Miskolc to attend a medieval festival at Diosgyor castle. It was a load of fun, with so many in character as if back in time. ... the score at 10 seconds to go before scoring in overtime to win the match. The mens elite was a nail biting game too but they didnt quite manage to level the score so got the silver medal instead. All up we heard the national anthem 4 times in the medal ceremony and picked up 2 silvers for the other teams too. Not a bad effort.
Sara and I said our congratulations and goodbyes to everyone outside the pool, had a quick dinner of soup and went back to our accomodation to pack our bags. ...

Eager in Eger for bulls blood

From Boobyfest we headed east on the train for Eger, feeling very eager to partake of what Eger is famous for...wine. In particular "bulls blood". Just the name evoked images of a robust red that Vlad and Ivan love the best. This train was simply opulent when compared to the last one. The seats were big and deep. The toilets were clean. And there was free wi-fi (or as they say in Eastern Europe, wi-LAN) for the entire 3 hour ride. On board there were a lot of young drunk boys ...

... region, producing some of the worlds most famous sweet wines, we tried wines at a local family owned and run vineyard which was very special.

After the wedding celebrations we headed to Eger with the family which is also a famous wine producing region and the second largest city in Northern Hungary.
