Today we had booked a city tour that would finish with a skip the line pass to Anne Franks House. We met the tour guide at 10 and she was lovely. We were also lucky enough to be the only people on this tour so it was Private :) She took us for a walk to many of the different sights of Amsterdam telling us the history behind them. The most shocking thing we learnt is that Amsterdam was not built on already existing land but infact land that was reclaimed from the sea and built upon. ...

We entered the Education Room of Anne Frank House. There was a professor from the University of South Carolina there, as well as a student who was studying the Anne Frank story abroad. Amazingly, the student was from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He gave me his Business Card and a 3-D puzzle of Anne's house. You can only get the puzzle there. I was thrilled!
