We started our morning with breakfast in our hotel. Did I mention how much I am enjoying staying in a hotel???? (Just knowing I would be returning to a room that had freshly made beds and new towels made me happy for hours!!!) ... broken. We each settled to doing our own thing for a while. It seems we all had a similar experience trying to get tickets on this train. Obviously a late cancellation enabled four strangers to get to their destinations on time today. I must admit to have been very lucky with my travelling companions so far. At Brussels the ladies got off and we changed engine to the fast train. The rest of the trip whizzed by and I found myself in Paris. What a thing to say! ...

... we arrived! We walked up towards 'Chinatown' to find something for dinner and finally settled on a Tibetan place. It was a bit later than usual by the time we finished dinner, but this was on purpose as we wanted to see what Amsterdam was like after dark. The red-light district and sex industry is well known here and in some parts of town, you can not ignore it.
