... although there was no lake anywhere in the region, a café was opened along the “boulevard,” canned goods like sardines from Lisbon stocked the shelves in a newly formed local supermarket, and a bandstand was constructed for musicians to serenade the gathered officials.

... toilet. I saw that the exhibition inside had no English... according to the tour book, the video was very good... I wonder if it had English.

Then we went to a bakery for a 2.60 euro Black Forest cake. It tastes light and fresh!!! I still miss it!!! We took a picture of a church and shopped and bought 7 souvenirs at a small store. We spent just over 25 euros but the shop didn't offer tax refund.

... places we visited was the former school. This is where the memorial to the children of Terezin is located. Filled with their drawings and poems, most of them depicting the death and horror they saw everyday, as only children could. Pictures showing scenes they could not possibly understand.
