Today was our last day in Dubrovnik and our last day in Croatia. Thanks to an evening flight we had plenty of time to go sightseeing though. We started off going along the Stradun past Big Onofrio's fountain which was heaving with tourists and paid 100 kuna each to climb the city walls at the Pile Gate end. The walls gave good views across the rooftops of the city and out across the bays on either side. Like most places we have been in Croatia ...

... city with very well preserved old buildings. We spent several hours in Kotor before going to the ancient seafaring town of Perast to take a short boat ride on the Bay of Kotor to visit the Chapel of Our Lady of the Rocks. We finished the day by crossing into Croatia and ...

After that we left the old town and we went for Fort Lovrjenac, a big fort right next to the old city, the only bad thing was that you had to pay, but if you had entered the city walls you didn’t. After this it was around 16.30 so we started walking back to our place to get our things ...

... and to just hangout and relax. It was a wonderful last day together.

The thing that mostly stands out about Dubrovnik is the nakedness. It started one day when I went to the bathroom. I opened the door to leave and found myself walking into a naked man. Not really sure why he was naked in the hallway of the hostel, but there you have it. Then I learned that the island we kayaked around was one big nude beach. Never have I seen so many naked people as that day! Oh the ...

... some good laughs and stories once again. Back in Dubrovnik we caught the bus for our 6 hour trip to Split. Our Croatian adventure was coming to a close. A night and day in Split was all that we had left before another Night Train and day of travel to Budapest, Hungry. Croatia was amazing and, surprising to me, had some of the best beer I've had on the trip, or was it just the location and setting that made it so good.
