... we did and I expected to end up at an Irish pub eating burgers but Caleb had in his mind that we eat at Wanda - the sons restaurant of the lady who met us when we arrived in Dubrovnik. I told Caleb that it was sort of fancy but he was keen. We were the only ones there and Caleb chose to eat outdoors. We chose our meals and with no TV around we actually chatted for the whole night. Caleb asked me about my teachers when I was his age and I shared my memories good and bad. At ...

But there were no other kids there. After we had our desert we all went home and went to sleep. Rocky Ride to Dubrovnik by Nicholas The boat rocked hard ...

Originally we had planned on hiring motorbikes for the day however yesterday was such a killer heat wise we though better of it and went with a car instead. So, having picked up the vehicle this morning in Dubrovnic not far from our accommodation, off we go. Arriving at the border crossing, it took us 25 minutes to get through! We have absolutely no idea why it was taking the ...

... we were given a large room with separate kitchenette and a balcony with a view. This meant I cooked dinner every night and made Cath rest to recover from her virus. Lots of lean meat and vegetables, and tea with milk in the morning!

We walked from the hotel to the old town, about a 45 minute walk. We took the bus back. Dubrovnik was an independent trading power for a number of centuries until in the early 19th century ...
