Dopo colazione andiamo al bus terminal ad informarci per andare a Sapa. Il prossimo parte alle 10:15 e costa 40.000 VND. Facciamo check-out e ci addebitano 30.000 VND extra per le tre ore che abbiamo fatto in più (siamo arrivato ieri alle 6:00 e ce ne andiamo oggi alle 9:00)!!

Werner ci informa cha ha deciso di andarsene, da Sapa e dal Vietnam, che lo ha deluso (e lo capiamo). Torna a Lao Cai poi deciderà se andare in Cina o trovare qualche volo per Thailandia o Indonesia, che adora.

... ben niet niet alleen. Samen hebben we lekker ontbeten en 2 scooters gehuurd om het gebied te verkennen. Mijn eerste scooterrit! Helaas werd het super slecht weer, dichte mist en motregen, waardoor we 2 uur in de kou hebben gereden en uiteindelijk de scooters terug gebracht hebben.. Toen bleken de 2 andere meiden van de Halong Bay cruise ook in ons hostel te zitten... Eindelijk gezelligheid dus! Vanavond lekker samen eten en hopen op een mooiere dag voor ...
Making friends in Sapa
Sapa is a mountainous region in the North of Vietnam. It's really not that far from Hanoi (380kms) but the current infrastructures means that the train takes around 8 hours. We were looking forward to it, having enjoyed the 'night train’ experience in Thailand but the train is not exactly to the same standard...

It is located in the centre of the city, we felt good, it is confortable, cheap and clean and (very important in Sapa) you can get bed-warmer included in the room cost!!!
