Andalucia Guest House San Juan

I was very pleased with the guest house. The owners are warm and very helpful, the rooms comfortable, and the shared courtyard is welcoming. Just a block away is Kasalta's diner, a must, and the main strip of Condado is an easy one mile stroll. Old San Juan is a bus ride, or cheap cab fare, away. This is a great value for the city.

I stayed here from February 25 - 28th and found this guest house to offer some of the best rooms in San Juan. The customer service is excellent. The rooms are newly renovated and CLEAN. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andalucia and will be back! Close to beach, excellent restaurants and fun bar "Dunbar's." They have 8 rooms, so book early to make sure you get a room!

With the excellent customer service, new and cleanly kept, kitchy rooms, we could not have asked for more from the Andalucia. The hot tub, internet service and wonderful cafes across the street (incl. Kasalta) were added bonuses. What a perfect getaway, and with the very, very reasonable prices we would not hesitate to recommend the Andalucia to anyone travelling to Puerto Rico.

Great location, block from beach, quiet neighborhood, attractive setting with attention to details, and free internet. Excellent value and wonderful, helpful owners. I plan to use this as my base in Puerto Rico for all future trips.

This very recently opened hotel was an excellent choice. Really loved our 4-night stay. It is a small hotel, very clean and the decor is tasteful. Bright, cheery rooms. Located on McLeary Street, very close to Ocean Park Beach. The proprietors were very nice and friendly. They threw us a delightful champagne party on New Years Eve. The eats were yummy, I can still taste the Spanish Omelette:). And it helps that they're so knowledgeable about PR and willing to share that information, thanks to them we had a great excursion in the bioluminiscent bays of Fajardo.

and already I am planning my next holiday stay there. The staff is so

friendly, and the place is just beautiful, clean and articulate. It reminds

me of the guest houses in Spain. I recommend it.

The Andalucia Guest House in Ocean Park is without a doubt the best guest house to stay at in the San Juan metropolitan area. I've stayed at many and there is no comparission.

Everything is new, clean and fresh. The beds were the most comfortable that I have ever slept on in all of my 15 years of staying in Puerto Rico. The guest house is centrally located and provides easy access to everything.

Having stayed at guest houses on the beach, I find that being off the beach is much better. You are not awaken each morning with the loud sound of the tractors that clean the beach each morning and you don' t have to deal with the insect problem. The two block walk to the beach is worth it.

Emeo and Esteban were the greatest, accomodating, honest, helpful, pleasant, warm and just the type of people you want to be around when on vacation.

I was very pleased with my stay here. The guest house is close to the ocean, restaurants, and Walgreens. It is a short drive or cab ride to Old San Juan, and hotels with casinos in Coronado.

Our room was very nice, air conditioned, cable television, small refrigerator, and microwave. We made a few special requests and they were granted immediately. Also they have a wireless network and I enjoyed a good high speed connection during my stay. But this might depend on which room you habitate. In any event, all guests have access to a computer with high speed access.

I felt that this was a great alternative to a hotel, and put us closer to the way life really is in San Juan.

Overall, I would recommend this guest house without hesitation.

Great little find. Hosts are precious. Very helpful with information. Make everyone feel at home. Off-street parking (really nice), good location close to beach and short drive to just about everywhere else. Nice jacuzzi.

Place is fantastic value for the price. Compared with some of the higher priced places (where the room shown on the website is gorgeous, and the one they book you in is not), it is a fantastic option.

I have traveled around the world and the guesthouse is just the perfect break I needed. (I was able to go twice in a few months) The rooms are the kind of places you can relax in, clean, new, comfortable, and very colorful! It is close to great restaurants, shops, 2 blocks from the beach, public transportation, airport, car rentals... The staff is so helpful. They know the island very well and help you figure out your activities on the island when you need help. The best part is that you can enjoy yourself, be at ease take a break and not spend next months' savings in the process. I highly recommend it.
