The first port of call was the Independent visitor's centre. We'd seen a huge queue over the road and we were curious what it was. to see the Liberty Bell. Nah I'm not into queuing that much!
So we found a small theatre where we saw a very interesting documentary of the history of Independence from the English.
After a nice wrap,a d ghastly coffee, we decided to go on a fun tour ...

He explained that the largest part of the arguing, writing, and decision making were actually made at the local tavern. Hmmm... Some things don't change! ... nearby Haverford, Swarthmore, and UPenn! I really liked the school.
UPenn, as many know, is a very prestigious college and it is part of the Ivy League. I absolutely fell in love with the school. This is really where I can see myself going, so I think I'm applying Early Decision! Fingers crossed ;)
We flew to Chicago that day, as it began to rain, so we were very lucky :)

I mean, he scored the highest number of points in the league this year, and he had more assists than goals, which tells me that he is definitely not a puck hog like some hockey players I could mention (*cough* Ovie *cough*) or in it for the spotlight as the woman insinuated.

So while I grew up in MD, it's my travels abroad where I have and will continue to grow. With this trip to Guatemala, I hope to keep growing as a cultured participant instead of an ignorant outsider. I want to become aware of how our Central American neighbors live.
