... with early check in by self and the baggage drop went okay if luggage under 23kg, so a bit of a shuffle from Kelly to Fay and correct weight. We are glad our back packs weren't weighed! Fortunately weight after this is 30 kg and there won't be any problems. Interestingly we went through security, still no customs check and we haven't had to show our passports to anyone! ... use to carry up furniture. They cant get it up the stair because their appartments are so thin - there is taxing on how many square feet of ground space you take up, so people optimize their space vertically. Which means they cant get their furniture up the stair haha. I also did a bike tour of the city which was really interesting.

The Hat set sail from the "Skinny Bridge".

Freed by a sudden gust of wind and loose from its tether off it sailed North Westwards up the Amstel. Narrowly avoiding two, glass topped, pleasure cruisers and a police launch it quickly gathered momentum using both wind and current.

Turning right at the New Herengraght canal it slipped easily and confidently under the footbridge.

... so many shopping streets and people. This is one of the most "shopped" town in Europe and we could see why. Then at the old town we crossed over to the red light district. Day 2 - Woke up extra early to take advantage of our last full day in Amsterdam. As soon as we got to the City Center, we started off by taking a canal tour around the city. It was about an hour long and so worth it! Who knew that Amsterdam had so much history and SO many canals. Over 165 canals with so many water houses. I loved every moment of it.
