We attended a pre-dinner concert onboard the ship featuring a local string trio (two violins and a guitar) called "La Strada". They are local Amsterdam college students, majoring in music. We disembarked this morning, :( Lloyd & Clem took one lot of bags up to the hotel, about a 20 minute walk away while Lyn & I stayed in the lounge saying our goodbyes to some of our fellow travellers. When they came back we walked all the rest of the luggage up. We could not check in until 2pm, so we walked around the city looking at various things.

... t think you are supposed to lift the hem and expose the ankles, but tripping was not on my agenda.

The very colourful mosaic featured on all the walls, tiles and forecourts was truly gorgeous, in colours of apricot, blues and greens in a modern floral design. And the bright chandeliers and carpets complimented everything. You would have loved a close look Heather S.
