Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. ... friends. Today they took us to a nearby city where there was a cheese market. Really another nice city. All in all it feels very comfortable here with people I know so well - quite a change! I am so looking forward to spending hte next 2 and a half weeks with my crazy family.

PS things you should know: Amsterdam has more bikes than people. They eat so much cheese here. The people are ridiculously tall. Oh and I love it here :)

... This place is kind of like Myrtle Beach/Coney Island, but with a bigger beach. The beach was massive! There is also a pier, which is currently shutdown, but once held a restaurant and hotel. The sand is very nice and the water was beautiful to look at. We went for a walk down by the water and stuck our toes into the North Sea. The shallows weren't that cold and people were swimming. We sat on the beach for the afternoon, just absorbing the warm sunshine, the sea breeze ...
