We arrived in Chicago around 3:30 pm on Sunday afternoon. After stuffing our bags in a broken train station locker, we hailed a cab and headed over to Gino's East, the highly-praised pizza joint that we'd heard about from some Chicagoans on the train. Chicago Day 2
... highway which we had missed seeing the day before and walked past the Willis Tower to Union Station. This railway station has been in many different movies like The Untouchables and was very grand in its architecture and scale. Alas it was time to catch the train back home. Our Last Day In Chicago & Our Flight Home
... is very keen to be going home!
Our first flight to LAX is on Virgin America....the flight is only 3/4's full and we are able to spread out.....a four hour flight that was as painless as you'd want it to be! We arrive at LAX with plenty of time to get our Qantas boarding tickets and get to our departure gate. The big A380 is waiting and we are able to board our last flight within 30 minutes.
