After an 8 hour bone-shattering bus ride on the roughest sealed road I've ever come across, arrived in Jodphur, just in time for a look around the fort.

We really aren't being lazy but there really isn't much to say about Jodphur or our short time there. It didn't make quite the impression that Jasialmer did but the Fort is quite impressive. Monkeys and the market
We enjoyed a really lovely chilled day in the sun today. We walked to the local market in the morning and managed to haggle some oranges and bananas. We grabbed some crisps for me and a Bombay mix for Sam and proceeded to spend most of the rest of the day on our roof terrace reading our books playing cards and planning our next adventure.

... of the best things we've seen in India so far. From the battlements we also had a great view of the squat blue buildings that give Jodhpur it's nickname "The Blue City". The indigo blue wash keeps the buildings cool and blue is a Holy colour signifying the Brahmin caste.
