We had a few beers (Singa) and a lovely Thai dinner. I could see a winding river somewhere over Mosambique and around sunset (wich cam quicker than expected since we flew against time) I could see some islands (must have been the maldives maybe). I watched a movie (John Carder) and then we popped our little blue pills and went nighty ...

... ago... and he then bought one too!

Last year I travelled with a backpack (a no no for my poor back as I cant even begin to explain how irritating it is being a tortoise and carrying your life on your back!

So I chose a small bag, it is light and when full, it should weigh less than the 15kgs that we are allowed when we fly internally in Thailand.

So bag sorted.. now the packing ...

It was well worth the 230 euro each to take the train from Capetown to Jo'burg Premier Class. Departing around 9.00am with carriages similar to those on Murder on the Orient Express. We settled in for our 1080 km journey quickly. Views of table top mountains were visible for a good while into the first section of the journey.
The catering staff had no problem in serving up lunch in the dining ...
