Today, Krumlov is a popular tourist town and the Czech people come to holiday and take rafts and small boats down the river during summer. We watched the parade of paddlers of which there were hundreds, many enjoying a pub crawl or boozy lunch along the way as they visit many pubs and drink much beer.

... VIPs. The grounds were just beginning to flower but the trees were varied and interesting. A new variety of tree is planted on the grounds each time a President from another country visits.

Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic. 8th and 9th.
The old town is heritage listed with UNESCO and it isn't very big so if you visit you will need a day, at most two to see everything.
They have cheated somewhat with the architecture, putting up posters or paintings on the walls of buildings of old stonework and art that would have adjourned the old buildings... and it even looks believable in photos but its false and a little ...
