With a good forecast we set out for the Wailua golf course, a muni on the east side of Kauai. Wailua is an oddity in Hawaii in that it is an inexpensive great course. It has hosted several US Public Links Championships, and has 5 or 6 very scenic holes along a beautiful beach yet is the least expensive 18-hole course on Kauai. Another beautiful day in paradise although a few clouds and maybe showers threaten our morning for kayaking on the river! Our kayak guide is a fun guy called Elvis, obviously named after The King who made several movies on location on Kaua'i in the 1960's. A group of 16 set off in 8 ...

At the end of the trip it was lunch time (FOOD), make your own sandwiches, cookies and crisps nom nom nom went down a treat. Bundling back in the trucks, helmet on, we made our way back to base stopping off at a waterfall famous for being the way Hawaiian kings were chosen, if ...
