... for a bit to snorkel and saw a nice variety of fish. From there it was on to Tunnels beach known as the snorkeling hot spot of kauai. And it did not disappoint! We swam with three sea turtles and saw plenty of fish and coral. After tunnels, we went back in to Hanalei for lunch at the Tahiti Nui. And lastly, my most recent experience was the adventure of a lifetime. I met up with Cali, the project leader, and Kyle, the field supervisor for KFBRP and took off super early and headed up the Waimea Canyon to an area deep within the canyon where they do their "field" work. We put on our knee high boots and started out on ...

... was canceled and I had to wait for a later flight which got me into Oahu, and ultimately to CJ and Drew's house pretty late. However, they were still up and I was able to sit around and catch up with them for awhile. They said the waves were really good right now, but I was a little bit apprehensive about surfing here. They live on the North Shore of Oahu right on Sunset Point, which is one of the world's most famous surf ...
