So enjoyed our time with Andrew, Sara and Emerson but all good things come to an end. Up early as they were all setting off for the mountains so Andrew could go mountain biking with a friend and "the girls" could go shopping. ... round the castle were at 5pm, we decided against going inside (the €23 each ticket price also helped) and walked up to have a closer look - it was a half hour walk up the hill, the castle was very impressive and so were the views around... Alot of people were just sitting around waiting for there slot to go inside....

From there we headed to an overnight stop in Lechbruck a few miles North..

... Glenn was doing big panic about missing tour. Finally we got on a very cramped bus and made our way up to the castle. Hooray, they let us go on a later tour. It was lovely inside, although very dark. The castle was actually unfinished, a whole floor not fitted out, but what was there was magnificent. We ended up walking back down the mountain. ... the sound of the water running down its bed. The current was strong due to previous several rainy days and thus heralds a rather physical morning.

We were given a complete equipement : thick wetsuit -together with socks - which reassured me as I thought water was possibily snow melting down - helmet, harness and snap hooks. Stefan explained how to abseil and made us try on a wooden wall.
