Hjemme i DK
Endelige landet i Odense efter en hjemtur over alt forventning. Iceland Air er et godt selvskab. Man skal bare tage sin egen mad med hjemme fra, og høretelefoner med alm stil. Så kan man klare hvilken som helst tur. Ellers køber man det bare i flyet til lidt overpris. Benpladsen var fin og flyet nyt. Dog små fly, så vi sad 3 og 3 fra Denver og 2 og 2 fra Island. Our first and probably last Danish Easter

Catholics boarding this train to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus in a more religious country such as Denmark (great assumptions, no support for such claims) because the platform was PACKED with people trying to board a two car train.. ... hotel arriving to be told our room has been upgraded to the king suite due to overbooking, what a shame we had to slum it that night! Our last stop for the evening was the famous tivoli gardens, more like dreamworld on a smaller scale crossed with the best school fair you've been to. It was fantastic, fountains, lakes, lights, restaurants, rides, popcorn, mother duck and her ducklings.! We only had a taste of Denmark still so much more we want to see, we'll be back for more one ...
Day eight

We had time to waste for the next bus so strolled around the library which was within this centre. The strangest thing was that as I started to browse the shelves I saw directly in front of me the Ian McKewan book I had just read…On Chesil Beach. In Danish of course.

Day seven
... Mind you here in Denmark it is hard to find any bookshop let alone what we call a newsagent
I made enquiries about a train to Billand near which is Legoland and was informed that they ran every half hour.
Back to the hotel for a rest and out about 7.30 pm to find something to eat. We found a place which was a bit like Arizonas and I had a terrible hamburger whilst Anne tucked into a nachos which she reckoned was also well below par. There was a salad bar but ...
