... and Pascal with an ankle injury from surfing. At one point Anton and I sat waiting for them for about 20 minutes and seriously debating whether to go for help as it was getting dark before finally spotting them. It was really dark as we were finishing so had to use torches for the last 15 minutes or so and on returning to our bikes we had a problem. Alex was carrying a water bottle, and one young monkey grabbed it and took a bite out of the bottom!

... a second room and it was clean, but we just wanted to leave. It was another 4 hours to Lovina (out planned next stop) and it was just too late to go there. We were in the middle of nowhere. After more arguments, with us packing up all our stuff with two very tired and grumpy kids, man number 2 came over to admit he had just got off the phone with the lady and she had confirmed the bed bug situation. Good of him to come and tell us, he could have got away ...
