The name of the city dates back to the 10th century when it was more freely referred to as The Horse Stud and that is the origin of it name. you will see from the panorama of my hotel that it is a beautiful city and also famous for its mineral baths, which I didn't get to try.

... track was guarded on both sides by steep, Black Forest Mountains and pine trees. It was worth the trip alone.

It is indeed a picturesquely situated town at 420 metres above sea level withe a pine clad gorge accompanying the river. From what I can gather most of the hotels tap into the mineral springs and many Germans come here for the medicinal benefits of the water. ... locations where google said there were gyms. I didn't find any except for a crossfit gym.Wed 1/10

  • I checked out of my hostel and left my back in the security room.

... Benz for $80USD was too good to be true. We got the car and I'll tell ya, the trunk space was appalling. Besides that, this is the nicest car I have ever driven. The massaging seats helped with the hour and a half ride to Stuttgart. The 360 degree camera and nigthvision camera also help, I feel like I am driving in a video game. The navigation system is amazing and is making it very easy to get around.

... that you would die for. That evening attended the Opera with Ingrid, Claudia & Uli. It was an opera set to the Grimm's fairy tale Cinderella, with a modern twist. Great to see inside their beautiful Opera House.
Presently in Stuttgart & many towns in Germany, they are celebrating Unification Day, the anniversary of the opening of the Berlin Wall in 1989, so on Thursday, Claudia & Uli insisted that we visit the fun park with the beer ...
