... again. They were both served with bread an salad so I had double! We saved the rest for lunch today so it wasn't wasted. Last thing about food. I was wondering what I would miss and I discovered it is my cup full of ice. I don't even care what is in it. I just want ice. I'll make do:) Our evening ended with Taylor getting a message from our credit card company about a fraudulent charge. I don't think his information was taken here ...

After that I went to a nearby cycling shop to pick up some supplies for trip...power gels, drink mixes, CO2 cartridges to fill flats, inner tubes, etc. By the time I got back it was dinner time and we had a nice quiet evening out on the deck and ate a meal of BBQ'ed meat, bread and salad. Of course I also started the hydrating process...beer...then the jet lag started to creep in and I called it a night. Connie wandered to bed a few hours later.

We spent the weekend in Stuttgart, Germany. It is 2 1/2 hours from Darmstadt (once again on the Autobahn). After checking into our lovely hotel, we drove to the Mercedes Museum. We spent around 4 hours learning the history of the Mercedes-Benz as well as reading historical events that occurred throughout different eras. This museum included much more than cars and we truly enjoyed it. ...
