... was from Yorkshire and teaching English to young children in Phuket. He told us a story about when he suddenly realised they were all reciting the days of the week with a Yorkshire accent - Mun-de, Tews-de etc. Very funny...

... the most stunning place we have seen. We arrived at the Hard Rock Hotel and I saw Darren at the check in desk. I ran up and covered his eyes from the back so he couldn't see me. It was so good to see him after three months of being away. We couldn't check in for a couple of hours so we grabbed a brunch with thanks to my other brother Paul and my sister in law Chloe. ... a Chinese guy with a hilarious mixed Chinese-British accent. He was a 1000 years old, but was super fun to talk to. He even knew the good places to go out! We left our backpacks at the hostel and set out looking for local Malaysian food. We found this nice street food place recommended by the Lonely Planet, where I had a duck plate and Sabrine got duck soup.
