We finished our short tour of Assisi up the main road lined with beautiful shops and views before heading to a delicious pizza lunch. It took me 20 years to try mozzarella, and it was a beautiful.       ... enjoyed our lunch, we left to go truffle hunting. And guess what, these truffles are not chocolates, but more like mushrooms or something...I never really got the really explanation of what I was truly eating.       When we were on our way to Rome we made a short stop at Assisi. At first I do have to admit I was a bit fustrated. All I wanted to do was get to Rome as soon as possible. I felt like we were wasting our time by stoping at Assisi. Boy was I wrong!
