    Took us a week but we are back to our normal sleeping patterns, we got up at 6:30 Yay! When we were at the mall last night we picked up a few supplies and now I have Nescafé and some kind of Danish type thing for breakfast and do not have to run out first thing.     ... the search for the ticket.At the airport I had problems to find an ATM that gave me only 10,000 rupees, ie 125 euro!The train-metro took about an hour to get to downtown. I spent nothing or maybe 20 euro cents for the passage and then a tuk tuk- taxi took me to the close hotel close for 1.50 euro. I paid the 4 nights, spending between rate and taxes, about 40 euro, or 10 euro per night.The impression is of being dropped down from Phuket to Madras.India looks dirty ...

    ... We were also surrounded by loads of McDonald's, Burger Kings, Starbucks and Haagen Diaz restaurants. We were starving so it wasn't long until we caved and got our next international McDonald's meal (468 baht for 2 large mc chicken spicy meals -not so cheap). We headed back down the strip, getting stopped every like 5 seconds as someone tries to get you into their shop. So many tailored suit and Thai massage shops. We have no room in our bags for shopping so ...

    ... us and george could not stand it she was rolled in a ball at the top sweating lol. Lucky he was fast enough and caught his tail. Then he only went and some how kissed that on the head. It was snapping at him but do not know how these things are allowed to happen in Thailand cause it 100% was not guaranteed safety.     ... to tell. After Ao Nang we decided to get the boat across to the island Ko Lanta. I think we're starting to get used to Thai time now as this was another classic example; we were supposed to leave at 10am but the 2 boats that arrived to Ao Nang before ours were full of Chinese and Indian tourists day trippers and the boat company insisted every passenger had their photo taken with a red dragon! It kept us entertained for an hour with the camera man running after ...
