... tra queste stradine desolate. Il silenzio ti avvolge e settembre ci regala un caldo sole e una brezza leggera. Al contrario degli altri paesini, Danjiacun e' vuoto, sembra quasi inabitato, eccetto che per i gruppi di anziani che si riuniscono verso le 16:00 nei cortili per giocare a ma-jong, un gioco tradizionale cinese. E' bello qui, ma una giornata e' sufficiente...l'indomani mattina siamo di nuovo in viaggio.

We finished our meals and headed back to the hostel. We gently packed our terra cotta replicas into our newly bought Samsonlite bag (the nick name we gave it). Looked like I over estimated the size of the statues and this bag will actually contain all of our gifts...in one heavy mofo of a case. Oh well. Time for sleep. We are headed to the capital tomorrow, Beijing.
