... gave me an explanation and a tour and then left. He called me at 7 to check and see if I needed anything.
I even managed to find my way around the resort, mostly. Lisa had a massive suite. Danielle had a swanky room also.
We hung out in her room for a bit. Not much happening there as it's couples only.
Tomorrow we leave for home. ...

... Which worked out because Air Canada Rouge has no t.v. on seatbacks.
Arriving in Montego Bay we were directed to a certain line and met J; tour guide for our fam trip who worked for the Jamaican tourist board.
Three or more days into the trip I thought back to the airport. Was that the same guy? I couldn't even recall for sure, I was so tired.

There I was, surrounded by cab drivers trying to take me places (at least I hope they were) and no clue where to go. I second guessed myself, if it was smart to not have booked at least the first night and fought my way through to the Margarita Ville Bar right outside the airport to get a cold Red ...

Last October at the OLPC San Francisco Summit, I had the good fortune to meet Craig P, ably representing OLPC Jamaica and the two small Jamaican XO pilot projects. I mentioned that my husband, Mark and I like to vacation in Negril in mid-winter. A favorite resort of ours, Swept Away has 12 tennis courts, several pros, and the largest fitness complex in the Caribbean.
