After a terrible sleep we got up early and said some sad goodbyes, added friends on Facebook, and said goodbye to Matej, crazy Dario, Sasha the sailor, who just got his captain license, Happy the cook, and the Capitano. They had two hours to clean the joint before the next lot arrive. They are hoping for a quiet group, it will be their last boat this season. We pressed on down the coast, aiming for Split and the conclusion of our epic descent from South Poland, which was to clock in at 700 miles. Red was well and truly fixed, evidently. After all the wonderful scenery of the past two days, our first sight of Split was a bit perturbing, with docklands and row upon row of ugly housing blocks. Even ...

... things home. After this we went to the Astronomical Clock Tower in the Old Town Square and watched the sunset from the top. It was a good view from the top, but a little bit cloudy, so the sunset wasn't as good as hoped, but still pretty. :) We then found a restaurant for dinner. Gem had a traditional Czech goulash dish with bread and bacon dumplings, Kristy had a fried cheese dish, and I had a salmon wrapped in bacon with grilled vegetables dish. It was really nice. :) we ...
