I'm convinced that nobody who is travelling in Croatia has any idea what the **** is going on. There’s been a lot of getting in poorly marked buses/cars without asking any questions (or at least without anybody being able to answer them in English) on my part. Due to a combination of touristic desperation, an increasingly frequent language barrier, and perhaps a bit of exhaustion, I frequently find myself in situations that sound like they could only end badly for ...

So this morning we had to meet in town at 7:50am, which meant it was an early morning and I got lumbered with a grumpy Emma who did not want to wake or get up, and after 10 minutes trying to get her up, I gave in and left her to it whilst I went for a lovely warm shower (as the boiler thankfully got fixed)!

Spilt, Croatia, is the second largest city of Croatia and the largest city of Dalmatia. The city's heart lies in the Diocletian's Palace, erected by the Roman emperor in the 4th century A.D. The palace was turned into a walled settlement, which grew into a very successful commercial port.

Arriving at the pier, we head off into the heart ...

Last I checked in Al and I had just boarded our overnight train from Zagreb to Split after a long day of travel (we fell unconscious on the train!) Al and I had a relatively restful sleep as we made our way to Split through the night...Annoyingly, I was robbed in my sleep of 110...Pretty annoying and a bit unfair, they had a leg up as I was asleep!...Sly *******.
We arrived into Split station at 7:30am to Pava who we were lucky enough to be staying with during this busy time! ...
