We woke to very heavy rain which didn't stop till about midday so we decided to stay put. Mid afternoon, the sky was full of very heavy cloud with the odd bit of sun and we thought we would go further on. While getting the boat ready we realised just how strong the wind was, so we stayed put till morning.

Sunday, my last night in the U.K was spent having a lovely home cooked meal, a beautiful roast dinner curtesy of mummy Davies :-D (pictures below) Some of the most perfectly cooked roast beef I've ever had! It was defiantly needed to give us energy to do all the packing, which in the end after putting my suitcase on a diet weighed 22.8Kg my allowance was 23Kg so I wasted 0.2Kg! Monday morning ...

Day 8. After a morning spent fitting a cupboard door, with some difficulty, we drove back the lovely Spa town,Buxton. We called at the "Druids" to catch up on the news, water the plants and tap into the wifi. A trip to the supermarket was needed to stock up on supplies for the weekend.
