When I told my room-mate that I am going to Venice, he said "You could also visit Sirmione if you get some extra time". After breakfast at the hotel (coffee was strong!!) we set out to cover many of the sights we had seen the day before on our wine tour but did not stop and enjoy.

We started at the Arena di Verona. An old coliseum akin to the one in Rome but smaller. It is however the third largest in Europe. ...

... and cobbled streets it would surely take you breath away if you hadn't already passed through 20 similar towns in the last 10 days and didn't have an aversion to the millions of tourists in the main areas, bus tours, walking tours and and tour which didn't involve having your own spare time.

Anywhoooo....saw the balcony where Juliet apparently stole the heart of Romeo and he ...
