Refrain from sugary treats, sugar fruit juices, alcohol, energy drinks, salad dressers, and margarine should all be dropped from your menu. Instead, replace all of them with plenty fruit and vegetable servings daily. It is recommended take vegetables while raw as they play an essential role to maintain a normal liver. You ...

      The Romantic Life (or not)

... wandering the most romantic streets I had seen, all alone. The arena was huge. Though sitting in it I felt nothing. Just an urge to write. So I opened my notebook and described in detail the tradesmen working on the foundations below me where the gladiators used to tear each other apart. I have begun to find people the most fascinating of all. People in Verona cared alot about what they were wearing, and the streets full of ...

      An Unexpected Gem

      With a short mileage to
cover today, we would make the most of it and visit Verona. Our fist
stop was a Harley Davidson dealer on the outskirts of the town. It
was a pretty big dealership with plenty of Harley branded bits –
not just bikes but barbecues, chairs and all sorts of expensive stuff
for the enthusiast. It began to rain a bit as we rode away into the
city, which was busy but not manic. We managed to find a motorcycle
      parking ...

      Desanzano & Sirmione

      Without such a rush
today and the weather being a bit wet, we walked back to the ferry
jetty to catch a boat to Desanzano to the west and on the southern
shore. This was another larger town with a marina again. The
weather just was not inviting today and put a dampener on our walk
around the town. We enjoyed a coffee in a pedestrianised street but
decided not to wait for a later ferry but to return to Sirmione on
      the ...

... We looked at a few menu boards but were not really impressed
either way, being surrounded by tourists all trying to savour the
same atmosphere. We walked along a side street and immediately found
a much more attractive little restaurant, obviously a family run
affair with just the feel we were looking for. The food was
excellent – seafood pasta for me and rabbit tagliatelli for Jayne.
The evening stroll back to the hotel worked off our meal.
