I walked across the boarder and just at the outside gate I asked where to get the tourist visa. Fortunately I did because it was inside the entry hidden away. Back down and pass a girl in Western clothes singing with her guitar as we go into the museum where we read about the mining, there was every kind of mineral not just the copper that was so profitable for the new electric wires that were suddenly needed, gold and silver too. We are happy to have Cathie's brother Richard and wife Melanie travelling with us.  They are good traveling partners and we are thankful they are with us for this trip.  Our other companions are from Saturna Island, BC; Oregon; Clearwater, B.C.; Pennsylvania, PA; Winnipeg, ...

The Arizona State Parks system is pretty amazing. They have a great marketing plan and reservation system in addition to some beautiful parks. After you make an online reservation you not only get an email confirmation you also get a personalized email to welcome you!

We decided, on our last evening in Lake Havasu, to head for another Arizona park near Phoenix – Lost Dutchman – and it ended up being a very good decision. This park ...
