... thirsty and call in to a local cafe for a drink, I had a watermelon shake, which is always good, but this was particularly good. Martin went for a lemon shake which was simply outstandingly good. Sweet, sharp and cold with just the most perfect tiny hint of salt. These splendid icy creations took a while to arrive and I watched the owner carefully measuring and tasting each drink (using a spoon and no double dipping) to ensure perfection. Being a bit more expensive and nearing the end of our Thai visa, we
only booked two nights. But wow, what a great two nights to end
Thailand with. Soft sandy beaches, great snorkelling (so many Nemos,
puffer fish and a purple starfish) and a generally nice vibe, it was
definitely worth its recommendation.
