Shanxii Provincial Museum clearly wins for biggest surprise of the trip. We had the most amazing guide. I have lost his name but he was a young man with black hair. Today we see one of the highlights of our tour - the Terracotta Warriors.  What a beautiful day, very little smog compared to yesterday. After another big chinese and western buffet breakfast we headed north to the site of the Warriors. ... enough guy but by the end of his reign he was a psychotic lunatic. Possibly due to his obsession with mercury as a magical life giving substance which he reportedly drank regularly and bathed in. His tomb has such a high mercury content that they still aren’t sure how to open it safely.

... find the correct buildings, there was no signboard indicating in which block or floor the residence was on. Well, eventually someone called the residence for us and we got picked up. The whole search had taken us about 1.5 hours and we were just happy to have finally found it. (Just a side note: we've actually met a guy who spent 9 hours searching for his hotel!
