Today we checked out of our guest house which has been home for the last 5 days and moved to Janine's brothers place, which is located close to the centre of Cape Town in the area known as Gardens (I think).

Having dropped our bags off I headed out for a coffee with my friend Linda (we meet in London and she now lives in Italy, but was on holiday in Cape Town), leaving Gary and Janine to a bit of family time.

... and there was blood! It wasn’t too bad just chopped a little chunk out of the side of my finger. Richard was very sweet and took charge getting some plasters from the staff and we patched me up, cleaned up the blood and headed off again. No serious damage done!

fantastic place!!! hot water bottles, papers weather update, inbuilt guide Austin the manager. Virginia makes another great breakfast and were off to climb Lions Head. it's not easy, but manageable in an hour or so! lots of kids coming up as we head down. then to Kirstenboch Gardens for Light lunch and a walk. back to table mountain and up in the cable car sensational views every which way.
