    ... sun for tbe most part. The mountain road was predominantly downhill but there were a few 'bonus' climbs before the big drop down to Fornovo di Tara. Our breakfast was pretty marginal at the overnight place so we had a food stop at Fornovo. After that it was onto more ordinary busy roads for most of the day.     ... Milan in the 19th century. It is now home to a series of museums and art collections. We passed through the central courtyard to and wandered through the extensive Parco Sempione, stopping to get up close to some local wildlife. Afterwards we headed back into the retail district for a spot of shopping before mixing it with the rush hour traffic on the trip back past Lago di Como to Morbegno.

    ... Liz needs the toilet urgently so we turn to head back to the upper piazza and hear the gent behind talking with a lady and it is obvious that the see we have gone the wrong way. The lady catches up with us and we explain that we need the toilette. Ah, she says and leads us to the piazza and into the bar there.     ... back to Chur and then 10 hours to Milan so we had to catch a bus for 3 hours to Lugano and catch a train from Lugano to Milan. On the bus, there was an accident. A van pulled out in front of the bus but luckily only the two side mirrors of them collided. It delayed us a while though. He just left his bus load of passengers waiting while they filed out paper work on the side of the road. It is truly amazing how narrow the roads are in this part of Italy. Barely ...
