... pick me up! Yes, I feel very fancy for practically having my own private driver. (Not sure if I mentioned this, but our driver and his son are also our cable men. Since our cable is fairly unreliable as to when it works, they see a lot of us and not in the best way. A lot of times, whenever we have them come to check the cable that hadn't been working when we left for work, it will miraculously be working when the men check it. I think this hilarious but they do not.) ...

... of 431 km/hr. Our trip to the airport took 7 minutes and we stayed on the train to return to our station. It was neat!
We then went to the metro station where there is an underground mall which really wasn't our thing. Fortunately we didn't stay long.
We then wound our way through traffic to the Jade Budda Temple and saw alot of different faces on the Buddas. Then I took the stairs up to see the Jade Budda which is absolutely beautiful -- it was worth the price of admission to see ...

... meiner Meinung nach unnötige Unkosten wie beispielsweise eine Versicherung von 30 Euro die nix abdeckt hinzu, die aber jeder trotz ausreichendem Privatschutz abschließen musste. In dem ganzen Chaos hab ich noch einen deutschen Wirtschaftsstudenten aus Ffm namens Phillip kennen gelernt, der schon ein Semester in China verbracht hatte und wenigstens ein wenig Chinesisch konnte und sich gut mit Behörden von diesem Kaliber herumschlagen konnte.
