Very polluted today, although the sun is trying to break through, and at least the rain has stopped.

We decided to get the ferry across the Yangtze and visit Hubuxiang Food Street for noodles again, and then try and get to the Baolong Temple.

However, our plans changed when we discovered the temple close to the Holiday Inn, the Temple to Lord Lu, which turned out ...

... sweet potatoes and other vegetables. We saw three hanging coffins suspended in crevasses in cliff faces - can't work out how they put them there. Our stop before we returned to the boat was at a village where a performance was put on by the locals. Our guide was very informative. Both about the area and her personal situation. Her family had to move when the area was flooded by the construction of the dam. Compensation was given ...

... a result I did not have much of Anna’s attention for most of our time in Wuhan. All in all it was great to see Anna back in her birth home and as a result she reverted and became very joyful and child-like.

Anna’s father showed us around town, specifically showing us her old primary school and the school playground where she had to sing the national anthem every morning and saluted the Chinese flag. We later wondered around her ...
