... eons away and now we are here. We had a couple of shots of kirsch in the evening to celebrate. As he said, he never thought he would be in China for his 64th!! Today I checked out for the day due to internal working problems and Mike has just returned having seen the panda breeding station. Baby ones in incubators and 2 year olds. Chong Qing was an interesting city known for its spicy cuisine. After an orientation walk, Ricky took us to a restaurant to try the famous Hot Pot. Curious, I couldn't wait to see what this Hot Pot meal was about.

Had a fantastic time on the boat, though the 3 gorges and amazing scenery. Took a small little made worryingly out of wood, still unsure how it floated. Went though smaller gorges and felt like we were the only people about. Slightly embarrassing t-shirt tan lines from the boat but had a great time. Over and out ...
