... and cleaning their fish and plucking chickens in the same stretch of water ( side by side); and the local crops on the outskirts. Finally on my last day it was by bus to another village - Qinghua to see the Rainbow bridge (800 years old and original!!!) A bit same, same so think I am done with old villages. Very hot and humid. ... refusing my offer to take it instead- although he did complain the next morning that going to the toilet in the middle of the night was a bit of a pain. Generally, once people are up on the top bunk, they tend to stay there- possibly for ever.
