Travel Forum - TravelPod > > Sri Lanka
I will be travelling to Sri Lanka in September 2008 and as I will only be staying for a short period I wondered if anyone had any "Must See" places to reccommend. I will be staying in Columbo for 1 night then to Dambulla for 3 nights, Kandy for 2 nights & Nuwara Eliya for 1 night. My trip then continues to the South West Coast for 7 nights.
Any suggestions very welcome.

I can tell you about some nice places to see in Colombo. I only stayed in Colombo at a hotel that I booked heavily discounted from My opinion is that the Independence Hall is worth seeing. Also, St. Paul's Church Milagiriya has an impressive architecture. The Galle Face Green is amazing garden. In addition the Edwardian style old General Post Office and the National Museum of Colombo are interesting. I hope you will have the time to see them all!
