Hi everyone.

Juts wondering what is the eaiest way to get from Paris East station to ST Lazare station as i have just read that they are not connected.

I will be arriving at East from Switzerland and will be passing through to Bayeux so need to get to Lazare.

How long would it normaly take to get to St Lazare.

My train from Zurich arrives at 1734 and i need to get to St Lazare by 1910. Is that plenty of time

Thanks

Tony

I don't know the name of the line but when you get to Gare de l'Est don't leave the station, follow the signs to the metro. So you'd be taking escalators down. There are Metro Maps posted everywhere near ticket sales so look for the line that will take you to Gare St Lazare. You've got plenty of time however sometimes it takes a while to get the subway ticket so I would suggest that as soon as you arrive get the ticket first.

you can take the bus 32 at gare de l'est and the bus is going really near Saint Lazare.

While its true, you can get a bus just anywhere in Paris, for someone who's just passing through, not familar with the city plus baggage, its not the easiest choice as opposed to taking a direct line on the metro from point A to point B. The metro is easier from station to station.
