We're heading to Paris at the end of April with our two kids. Any suggestions on budget, family-friendly accomodation in this very expensive city? We don't want to blow our meager budget!
if anyone can send me info at HoboKelly2007@wikichat.com I'd really appreciate.

Can you provide more information on types of things you will be doing and what you are looking for?

We took our 2 kids with us to London and Paris, and you are right, it is expensive. It is especially difficult to find a room that will accomodate 4 people. We were doing Disneyland Paris, so we ended up staying at the Movenpick at the resort there because they had a nice room that had bunkbeds for the kids and a king size bed for us, but it's not cheap (however, we couldn't find anything like this in the heart of Paris). We just took the train into the city from there (we only did the park on one of the days we were there, all other days we went into the city).

One option is to find an apartment to rent...it seems that you can do this cheaper than a hotel room(s) when it comes to 4 people. I looked into this when we thought the 4 of us were going back. There are sites on the internet for this...sorry I don't have any off hand. But there are some apartments for rent in Marais, which is a very beautiful and quaint part of the city.

For staying in Paris on a tight budget, check out the Budget Paris guide, which is full of good ideas.
