I'm new on the forum, wanted to mix it up a bit rather than just sticking with TTF.

I'm 21yo and heading to Beppu, Japan for 7 weeks in late December.

Just wanted to meet and connect with other who have been there, lived there, love Japan or just love travelling.

By, the way welcome to TP residanna and have a great time enjoying the wonderful onsens in Beppu. I went to the Takegawara onsen and throughly enjoyed being buried in hot black sand....soooo relaxing! I would love to return to Beppu if not just for that purpose. I think I also tried fugu in Beppu as well.

I believe that the TP forums are friendlier than Thorntree... but that's just me.

I'm biased, but I notice a lot more snobbery over there, than in here.

Though I'm in a big fan of LP, the design of TTF makes me cry. I like the traditional forum look.

I'm dying to go to Japan!
