If you visit the hotel named: Hesperia Park Troya hotel, Playa de las Americas, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain, make sure you CHAIN YOUR CLOTHING TOGETHER IN THE CLOSET. It is a medium class hotel, but don't let that fool you. We had items of clothing stolen from our room. The management there at the hotel itself did nothing to help us. Star Tour said we should have contact their representatve there on Tenerife--right, we find out the evening before we are to travel early the next day!! One item was not discovered missing until we got home. The repsonse from the main office on Mainland Spain, Hoteles Hesperia, was that their employees do not steal!! They inferred that we were lying. Real Nice!!

Man, that sucks. Good thing they didn't get anything of more value. It really stinks when something like that happens and the hotel folk are totally the opposite of helpful.
