Feel free to oooohhh & aaaaahhhh over Toronto's new stadium. It may not be nicer then ones you have been to, but it is the FIRST soccer stadium to grace Toronto and people are going mad!! This is majorly exciting stuff people!!



Toronto FC will have their brand new home at the BMO Stadium on the grounds of Exhibition Place in Toronto. The soccer-specific stadium will be able to seat 20,000 fans and will be the new home of the Canadian National Teams. Exhibition Place grounds is great as there is really good access to the transit system and you don't have to go into the city to get there. David Beckham will play his first game with L.A. Galaxy at the BMO Stadium. Some folks are really stoked by this.

I missed the sale on season's tickets which were $250.00 CDN.

Since seeing a soccer game in Barca, I am totally hooked. Now anyone coming to visit Toronto in the nicer seasons will have one extra thing to while away the afternoon! Soccer has always been seen as a sort of third-rate sport here in North America in the past, but it seems alot more people have been enjoying it as of late, tho we are home to some major fans for sure.

So, if you're around the T Dot this summer, get to the stadium and check out a match!

T.O. is calling it 'soccer', but I guess b/c it's just way too confusing to have two popular sports being called 'football'. Makes sense, but i prefer 'soccer'. That's the real name for it anyway.

Tell that to the Canadians! I think they actually know, they just don't want a hoard of American football fans showing up! Seems pretty silly, doesn't it? If they insist on calling it soccer, they should call it SC Toronto.

I don't know why they call it American Football? They only kick it every 4 moves?
