HI
Could someone please help us. We are 2 people who want to go to Angor Watt in Cambodia from Bangkok 28 Apr returning to Bangkok 30 April. It is a short time. COuld someone please help with info regarding getting there - if there are night busses - when do they leave, how long the trip is, what the cost is and if it is possible to book online or a day before departure (or are they full). Or any tour there maybe - but budget tour. All the quotes I got from travel agencies in South Africa are extremely expensive.
Please help
Kind regards
Liezel

Hi. Quick answer as it is bed time.
You can get a bus from Bangkok to Aranyaprathet - maybe US$4 or something like that. Half a day gone. Then get across the border and get another bus to Seam Reap arriving early evening or just in time for bed. !st day gone. Not much money spent by Western standards but much time sitting in buses.
2nd day. See Angkor. Sleep. Probably can be arranged at the hotel you stay at the night before.
3 day - reverse of the first.
Does that suit your timetable? If yes, don't book from home, do it all here. You can actually book all that on the day.
If you can be bothered to search though my pods, you'll find one that covers that trip and I think it has costs and a bit more detail. Has pics as well. But simple answer is: Yep it is possible and do it all over here.
