There are hundreds of places to see in LA (and near LA). Some places which are highly recommended for tour.
Hollywood - Walk of Fame, Entertainment Museum, Kodak Theater. You must go here at night…
Disneyland Park is in Anaheim, a theme park designed and build by Walt Disney. Disneyland has a larger cumulative attendance than any other theme park in the world so you must schedule and plan your visit here.
Universal Studios Hollywood - A theme park that grew out of a studio tour. You can also watch some entertainments here.
Santa Monica Beach and Pier - Nice beach with seaside amusement park and antique carousel.
Sunset Boulevard-World's famous streets and from the L-Word series, it began as a route between the stars' posh neighborhoods and the Hollywood studios. It runs from downtown to the ocean, passing through the "Sunset Strip".
Farmers Market and The Grove - A new shopping complex in 3rd street LA. Enjoy watching movies (I watched The Avengers here) or shopping, and then take the trolley to the Farmers Market for lunch or dinner.
Griffith Park - You can find here the Los Angeles Zoo, Griffith Park Observatory, Gene Autry Museum of Western Heritage and the Greek Theatre
