Backpacker must have been asleep when she passed it, as it says it is located beside the PanAmerican Highway just south of Antofagasta.

It's a great excuse to return to Chile.

I flew into Calama, which is way to the Northeast of Antofagasta, where the hand is located. Once in Calama, I drove North to San Pedro de Atacama, close to the Bolivian border...
