Last time I was in Myrtle Beach I was maybe 10 years old. So I didn't know there was anything cool to do there, besides the beach. This list doesn't exactly impress me http://www.jaunted.com/story/2009/4/9/6577...2C+Seriously%21

IS there anything cool to do in Myrtle Beach?

Go Scuba diving
Luckily, Myrtle offers their own take on the SCUBA scene at Coastal Scuba. They’ll gladly teach you how to dive indoors in a pool, and if you do a good job, they’ll take you out in the ocean as well.

Do a Segway tour
Myrtle Beach Segway will hook you up with a tour of the Market Common District. You’ll glide along for just about an hour where they promise some “eco-friendly” fun.

Broadway at the Beach
For the 13th year in a row, the tourist strip known as Broadway at the Beach is holding a party devoted to the warmer weather on April 25.

Spring Wing Ding at Barefoot Landing
There may be some confused visitors wondering where all the beer and wings are, but this festival is actually all about birds. Let’s just pray that no one thinks that this means open hunting season on waterfowl. This weekend bird experts will teach you about wildlife, while guiding you along a nature walk—right through the marshes next to a shopping mall. Alright, this might be a place where you'll end up running into the tourists that you're trying to avoid, especially since there is an actual buffalo wing eating contest on Saturday night.

Brookgreen Gardens
If there is a must see in the Myrtle Beach area, it has to be the Brookgreen Gardens. It’s a national historic landmark with one of the largest collections of outdoor artwork and sculptures in the country.

In the winter, many of the major resorts on the beach drop their prices to around $30-$50 a night. Some of these have indoor lazy rivers, multiple pools, 15 story towers with catwalks to parking lot, so we're talking some pretty nice hotels. Summertime prices? anywhere from 100-350 night plus higher for more exclusive places.

Haha, I don't know what Idaho has to do with Myrtle Beach, but it looks like a fun time.
