I am a fan of this Challenge. Really nice!

However, the developers should be able to make it bigger. The pinpoint is hard when you go to World Challenges.

Anything coming up to improve / resize it?!

Thanks !

HI,

When the game was first created it was as an application for Facebook and the space they allow you to use for an application is very limited but the game was written within those constraints. I am afraid we are stuck with that size map for the time being. We will review it, I am just not sure when we will be able to find another mapping software that will fit the game and give us better resolution and detail so it can go down to a much much smaller area.

But the game sure is a lot of fun!

I swear that I had played a flash game exactly like this before. In fact, I'm almost sure it was exactly one year ago (Thanksgiving time). Odd. But the flash game was a much larger box. Couldn't you make it bigger, hosted from a different site(s) and then have information relayed back to Facebook? A lot of other websites share information with Facebook (Youtube, for example). I suppose Travelpod could do this also-- not merely for this addictive flash game but for new blog posts here, etc.

Wow... I agree. This game is assigned for an international communications class- but I can barely see the map. Super frustrating. Also it would be nice to explore areas ...links to regional info, points of interest, etc. Finally I can not get it to work on iPad... Any ideas?

Can I create a new entry from my phone?

Yes you can! Just send a message from your phone without a photo. We'll take that message and create a new travel blog entry with the title taken from your message subject, and the text taken from your message body. The entry location will be copied from your most recent entry. If you don't have any entries in your travel blog, we'll use the location from your profile.

You can alternate between sending messages without photos and messages with photos to group your photos in different entries. Imagine you are heading to the beach, followed by dinner. You want your beach photos to go in one entry, and your dinner photos to go in another entry. You could send a sequence of messages like this:

1) Message (text only)
Subject: Off to the beach...
Relaxation day so we decided to walk the surf...

2) Message (with photo)
Subject: Check out this hunk of kelp...
Don't you think that it looks like the Mona Lisa?

3) Message (with photo)
Subject: Beached whale.

We hope you get the idea.

What phone do your support?

With the wide variety of phones, and service providers around the globe, and more showing up every day, we haven't been able to test every possible combination out there. So before you leave on your trip, we suggest that you try sending a photo or two as a test to make sure that your phone will work.

If it doesn't, send us a message and we'll make sure to add support for your phone.

What if my phone/service provider doesn't seem to work?

If you send a photo from your mobile phone and after 10 minutes it doesn't show up in your travel blog, check your email. When we receive photos from phones which we don't yet support, we'll send an email ( to the email address in your profile ) to let you know that your phone isn't yet supported.

We also receive notification of the failure and will work to add support for your phone as soon as possible. Once support has been added, we'll email you back to let you know.

Hi, I just started a blog today. When I tested it with my mobile phone (sending an email to name.password@travelpod.com), nothing happended: it didn't occure on the blog and I didn't get a message.
What could that be? The phone is a motorola defy.

Thanks in advance,
Ludwig

Hi,

I'm sorry but that application does not work on an ipad.
