thanks for looking at my question so I'm heading to Germany to work with Zeppelin NT airships
for a month and wanted to know what to see and do while I'm off I will have a car to share and have never been there and will be there this month July then going to England for another month of training. how do adult dress I'm 44 and would like to blend in with locals

Hi dabrian, where are you coming from? People in Germany dress much the same as people in the rest of the Western world, so it's easy to fit in.

The Rhine valley is beautiful, you should definitely go there since you have a car.

I am coming From San Jose California would like to bring shorts, Polo shirts, Jeans, and khakis pants and jacket I don't want to bring a coat if the weather is nice so much to pack.

You should probably bring a coat, you never know when it will rain. Also, it gets cool in the evenings.

This is probably too late to help you, but maybe someone else traveling to Lake Konstanz will read this. The best way to travel in the immediate area is definitely by ferry. Lindau and Konstanz are both lovely cities, and some of the smaller towns that the ferries stop at are quite charming. If people only have a day to get around, I'd suggest buying a ferry trip all the way from Konstanz (in Germany right at the Swiss border) to Bregenz (Austria) or vice versa. You'll get to ride all over the lake and see a bit of the towns it stops at, which you can visit later. I'd also recommend some trips into Switzerland from there!
